We are located in Western North Carolina 12 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and nestled nearby is the Smoky Mountain National Park. We are between Maggie Valley and Waynesville, just 6 miles off Interstate 40 traveling between Asheville and Knoxville.
Our free standing shop is unique because of the variety of fabrics; from bright and bold to Civil War, including over 500 bolts of batiks. We have kits available and keep current with the fabrics displayed in quilt magazines. We have samples abounding throughout the store. Not only do we appeal to quilters but also to the purse enthusiasts and home sewing.
All of our staff are very knowledgeable about products and are willing to help customers solve problems or give them new ideas or things to try. We love to help people with their creativity and we have a friendly staff that goes the extra mile when helping customers.
We offer many classes at the shop from beginning quilting, to thread painting to mystery quilt classes and BOM's. Our beginning quilting class is a 6-8 week course and is always ongoing and filled. We offer day, evening and weekend classes. We have several special events and parties throughout the year and host seminars and retreats.
